FAQ's

What if my child has never ridden a bicycle at all, not even with training wheels ?  Will he still be able to learn to ride a bicycle?

- Even if your child has never ridden a bicycle before, we will be able to teach him how to ride safely and independently.  However, it is recommended that your child use a bicycle with training wheels at least for 3 to 4 weeks prior to beginning lessons with Cycle Shazam so that he becomes familiar with the pedaling and steering of the bicycle.

What if we don't have a bicycle for my child to use.  Will Cycle Shazam provide a bicycle?

-  We can provide a bicycle for your child for the lessons, however, there is an additional fee of $25.

My child is low on the autism spectrum.  Would she be able to learn how to ride with your help?

-  As long as your child is able to follow instructions and pay attention during the lessons, there should be no problem with her learning.

What safety equipment will we be required to have for my son?

-  He will be required to wear a safety helmet at all times.  We also recommend wearing knee pads and elbow pads.

What happens if the weather is bad?

-  If it is raining or has recently rained, we will reschedule the lessons at no additional cost.
